Summary: He's on the wrong side of forty, she's his deceased best friends daughter. Will he give in to her or will she be able to break through his armor.
Ramble: Wow. My main disappointment with this story (if you can even call it that) is the fact that it took me so long to find time to read it. For a one-shot, I find this to be really good. The plot is just right for such a short story. And that author does not leave readers hanging at the end of the story.
