Summary: Bella is deaf and due to her disability, she is unable to do the one thing she's always wanted to do, follow in her father's footsteps and be a firefighter. Overcoming the hatefulness of several people, she works in the firehouse, but can she be the saving grace in a scary emergency situation?
Ramble: I know that this is at least the second time I am reading this story. This is probably one of my favorite stories from one of my favorite author duo. Maybe it is because of my childhood dream of being a firefighter? Something about this story just pulls me right in. I mean not only does it have fire fighting, and libraries, it also has mentions of ASL, which I think is one of the most beautiful languages I've come across so far.

Summary: On the night of Edward and Bella's third anniversary, Edward, who is a firefighter, is sent into a burning building which collapses with him inside, leaving Bella at home to wonder if he will make it home alive.
Ramble: This one hits closer to home for me than the others so far, just because of family. At first, I expected it to be more like a few other stories I've read in the past, but am glad that it turned out a bit differently. Personally, this one is up at the top right now.

Edward finally has a day off from his busy job as a fire fighter to spend some time with his 'new' wife, Bella. Little do they know that their 'happy ever after' may be threatened as a national, and international, tragedy sweeps the nation and the world.
Will love be enough to keep Edward alive?
Ramble: A little hopeful story form the tragic events that happened on 9/11. This, perhaps is a good reminder to people,to remember and be thankful for firefighters, and the risks they put themselves in for people like you and me.

Flaming Desire

Summary: Rose, Alice, and Bella work in the hospital ER. Edward, Jasper, and Emmett are firefighters who are brought to the ER one night when the girls are working. Sparks ignite. But will the flame remain when their love is tested? AH OOC Canon pairings
Ramble: This story has two of my favorite elements in stories: doctors and firefighters. This is a longer multi-chaptered story that is well worth the read. Imagining the guys in their gear, with fire chief Edward in the lead. . . WOW!!! The author is working on outtakes from this story, so maybe there will be more of this awesome combination in my rambles.
