Ramble:  A not so secret, secret Santa.  Edward is the boss, and tires to keep human resources fro firing people over the holiday.  He and Bella leave the party together.  Bella thinks she will be fired, and in the end she is fired, but it works out for the better in the long run.

Ramble:  Edward is the boss and a Christmas grinch, I mean he just isn't that interested in the Christmas spirit.  Alice, his sister, talks him into participating in a Secret Santa.  Readers find out that Edwar and Bella got each other in the drawing.  Bella tries to understand Edward more, and they end up falling for each other.  As Christmas gets closer, they both come up with special gifts for the other person.  At the party, there is a slight misunderstanding with Lauren.  The story ends with Edward and Bella spending time together, a very sweet and happy ending. :D

Ramble:  I guess I was in a mob mood for a bit.  While I finished reading this story a few days ago, I finally have time to work on this ramble for a bit.  This story is focused on 5 main mob families, with Edward as the head of the group of 5.  Bella marries Edward, as payment for a botched fight for power.  She grows up in a very 'traditional' family, where women grow up to get married and have kids.  Edward already has a child from his first marriage, and his family is more modern.  Women are allowed to work and have a more active role in the household.  He allows Bella to make use of her business degree and work in legal businesses.  Bella seems to have a knack in the business world and works hard to be a mother, wife, and keep up with all the businesses Edward is letting her help with.  There are a few sub-lines happening in the story, including how Charlie believes Jacob more than Bella, even when she was trying to help him.  Some betrayal and lots of shooting.  Ends with the loose ends tied, and Bella being the lioness that she is.

Ramble:  Wow, I had a hard time stepping away from this story!  There is power from being next in line when it comes to the business this whole story revolves around, and the way Edward and Bella seems to click? It is amazing!!  Most of the story is in Bella's perspective, though there are a few in Edward's.  While a lot of the story revolves around the fetish, there is a little bit of drama in the comes in.  Nothing too bad, but there were a few tense moments, and a few times when I wanted to go into the story and give a Gibbs slap to a character or two...

Ramble:  An almost typical office elevator relationship... well at least that what it seemed like in the beginning.  It is a pretty fast paced office relationship that has some drama mixed in, between their history, position, and even some espionage like scenes.  There are also some very romantic/sweet scenes mixed in throughout the story.

Ramble:  Pretty different from the basic story.  The misunderstanding is different, and the ending of the story seems fitting.  I have to admit that there were snippets from a book in the story that I skipped over.  One of these days, I might read it if I ever reread the story.  There are posted sequels to this story, and I might get to them one of these days, but we will have to see how things go. 

By The Numbers

Ramble:  A rather quick modern story.  There is no crazy aunt on the Darcy side of the story this time.  Not only that, but the relationship problems between Charles and Jane does not really have anything to do with Darcy in this story.  The summary holds true, and seems to be a really quick read.

Perfect Fit

Ramble:  A modern twist on the classic story.  Elizabeth has a history with Collins already that isn't that happy.  While their history is not covered in a lot of details, readers are able to see how it shapes Elizabeth's character.  At first, I thought the story could have ended earlier, but after reading it, the author ended it at the right place.  I guess my original thought stemmed from where the classic story ended, so imagine my surprise when I got to where I thought the story will end, but see a more pages to the story.  :)

Ramble:  Such a wonderful story!  A cool story that reminds me a lot of how karma will get the mean people... eventually.  Mike Newton is such an interesting and bleh character in this.  Pretty much through out the story, he doesn't seem to realize what is happening at the bar as he tries to drown his sorrows (as well as try to get some action).

Ramble:  This contest looks pretty interesting.  There are quite a few entries that have some very good (and tempting) summaries.  I look forward to reading some more of these when I have time.  It is hard for me to describe this story without going into too much detail.  The rambles for the stories in this contest are probably going to be short and sweet for most of them...

Ramble:  I love reading stories from this author! It is interesting to see how people over look things so easily.  Looking at things from a different angle can make such a difference.  A short office story that leaves quite a bit to the imagination.  I say that, because we search for the mystery person with Edward in this story, not knowing who it is until he does.  Quite an interesting story that reminds me of perspective.

Ramble: This is a rather short one-shot, but it does not waste a single word. I feel like this was a really good choice, because it allows me to do some quick reading without having to invest too much time to get to the end. As a whole, the story has a very simple plot but filled with a lot of awesome details.

Ramble: First off, I would say to read the author's note at the beginning really well (when the author says that there are 'triggers ahead' and 'read with caution', listen and really think about it before reading). I found the story as a whole written really well, but some parts of it was surprising to me, just because this is a little different from other stories like this that I have read. It works really well as a oneshot.

Blood & Glory

Ramble: This story has a good balance of crime and punishment. It kind of starts out with one problem that slowly gets the characters more and more involved. Edward is approached by Carlisle to find and rescue Bella. Edward and the boys are ex-air force who turned into hired killers who work for Carlisle who while 'retired' still pulls a lot of strings in the government by doing the jobs the government cannot do (you catch my drift?). As that one mission starts, it pretty much takes the whole story to finish the mission. I love the technology between Alice and Ben, not only that, but some of the gadgets that are mentioned in the story sounds pretty awesome!

Ramble: At first, I thought that this would be a predictable story, just because it starts out in high school, and the lovers don't meet again until 10 years later. I was pleasantly surprised with the way the story came out. Right off the bat, I will say that if you are a Carlisle fan, you might want to reconsider reading this story. The Carlisle in this story is really different from the ones in a lot of other stories. Personally, I wanted him to suffer a lot by the end of the story, so be warned that this one is really different from the kind and loving father figure he normally is. The beginning of the story is rather sad, but the rest of the story focuses on Bella and Edward, as they try to regain their trust in each other.

Ramble: This story is on the longer side, but a really good read. Personally, I liked the beginning and the end more, just because the plot in the middle of the story was slower. Restaurant setting, with Edward as head chef and Bella as a server. I was really happy to see that the author posted pictures of the cloths they wear in the story, they look awesome! While Edward and Bella enjoy cooking, the world around them seem to keep throwing curve balls at them. While I really liked this story for the food aspect of it, I also enjoyed the mystery at some points of the story.

Ramble: So the summary pretty much sums everything up. There are a few Italian words in the story, but they are defined at the end, for readers. The one-shot, pretty much ends with this one chapter. I mean, it can be expanded if the author really wants to, but at the same time, it would work with just this one chapter.

Ramble: A fun look into how a brewery works. Edward is working on getting a divorce from Victoria throughout the story. Bella is a college student who gets hired to work in the tasting room at the brewery. Things happen and stuff... now, I don't want to give too much away...

Ramble: While there is some domination, I don't feel that it is a big enough part of the story, to add it to the BDSM label. The chapters are quick reads, with the focus on Edward and Bella. Jasper and Alice are included, but only mentioned. Both pairs spent some time exploring in the past, and their relationships strengthen through out the story.
