They grow up together, until a quarrel between them creates estrangement. When they meet again, four years later, what happens?
Ramble: I don't know why but I really like stories where they meet as children. While I don't have a copy of that story, I am thinking about getting a copy to read again. Because of the change in how they meet, parts of the story changed as well. There are some more scenes that make your cringe, and a few where your heart just goes out for the character. Everything works out in the end, and I believe the author has a story that focuses on the children from this story. For now, I'll probably wait for that to be a complete story before trying it... I find that I don't like waiting for the next chapter to be posted most of the time.

Ramble: A short story that changes the whole story. It is amazing how much one small thing can change the whole novel. Very short, sweet, and to the point.

Random Ramble
Wow, it has been a long while since I've posted anything here (and yes, I actually had to go through the 'forgot your password' thing to get to the right email address to get this post going). I went to read mainly on my phone for the longest time, and emailed links to stories to myself, but never got around to typing up the rambles. Now that I take a closer look at the stories and groups I used to be in, I feel like the community has changed a bit. While there are not as many new stories to read as there once was, I plan on continuing on what I used to read, and try to enjoy the process again.
So, I'm going to try to post here and there again, and maybe try to leave some reviews, if I can get into my accounts again. There might be some reviews on books that I've read too. I'm trying to take advantage of the prime lending library so I might try to use this as a way to remind me to keep reading, and to see what books I've borrowed before. Since I'm going through and just reading what catches my eyes, there might be duplicate rambles, since I don't remember which stores I read and wrote about here. There might be a big gap between posts here, but that doesn't mean I stopped reading stories... I just didn't read them on a computer where I can easily ramble about them. ;)

Just realized that I was breaking the rule according to A Happy Assembly... so those posts have been reverted into drafts for my own personal records.
So, I'm going to try to post here and there again, and maybe try to leave some reviews, if I can get into my accounts again. There might be some reviews on books that I've read too. I'm trying to take advantage of the prime lending library so I might try to use this as a way to remind me to keep reading, and to see what books I've borrowed before. The End and the Beginning

Ramble: An interesting 'what if' story (spoilers ahead!!). The Mrs. Bennett is actually the second wife of Mr. Bennett. Kind of explaining why the older two daughters are so different from the others. Some of the characters are really different from what I expected, because there are quite a few changes from the original story. The background of Jane and Elizabeth is revealed over time. There are many, many chapters in this story. A long read that is well worth the time. Darcy a duke, on top of owning Pemberley. With the length of the story, the chapter is wrapped up nicely. Quite a few changes and secretes in this story. There were a few times when I got confused, because of some of the new characters in this story.

Summary: Recovering from an accident, Kaoru finds herself not only dealing with injuries that have left her temporarily blind… but with a vampire whose attentions she doesn’t quite know what to make of. One shot. B/K.
Ramble: Another vampire based story. This time, their blood has special healing powers. What vampires do in this story is not really described. I mean there are some ideas, but very little mention of blood shed.

Summary: Kamiya Kaoru is hiding from the only salvation she ever found. Her past stalks her fragmented shadows like broken glass, unwilling to leave her. To let her leave him. Nothing will change it. KB. Possessive Fic. One-shot.
Ramble: She runs away, hoping to save him. He tries to find her, wanting his other half back. They meet again, and he makes his presence known. After figuring out what happened, and what caused her to run, he eliminates the problem, and saves her. They end up trying to make up the four years they spent apart.

Summary: In the Underworld where Vampires prey on Mankind and Werewolves stalk the shadows, human finds themselves caught between blood and extinction . But even more terrifying is the Battousai, ruler of the night. And he gets what he wants, and he wants Kaoru.
Ramble: A vampire and werewolf filled story. Things end abruptly in the first chapter, so some of the guys have to wait for their other halves to be reborn. By the time they do, there are some problems before they can finally get together. Like some of the other stories, it can be a bit dark, with many mentions of spilled blood.

Summary: A golden eyed demonking filled with hunger, a wicked stepmother jealous of a beauty she could never have, a beautiful princess haunted by magic, a mother's wish that bound them all. Retelling of Snow White. BK. SemiDarkfic.
Ramble: A twist on Snow White with the cast of Rurouni Kenshin. With a stronger presence of magic in this story. Some things are changed (mostly things added) when compared to the regular Snow White story, but for the most part the main parts are here.

The drafts are probably somewhere in my email drafts, but I decided to read all of the Rurouni Kenshin stories on fanfiction and make a note of them. Some of these stories are the fist ones that I signed up for alerts for. Anyways, back to this story; a semi dark and possessive one shot. There is a quick warning at the beginning of the chapter. It is really short and quick read, perfect for a quick pick-me-up.

One day, I found myself pulled into a world full of blood, war, and love. This is my story of my time in the land where the river runs as red as blood. Retelling of Red river with my OC, Yuki. I own nothing except my OC.
Ramble: I've been looking for a good Red River story for a while now. I was really happy to come across this complete story a few days ago. As stated in the summary, it is a retelling of Red River with a new character. I enjoyed how Yuki grew and changed in the story. The additions to the original story were done really well. While I knew about what would happen, since I finished the series, it was interesting to see the story from a different perspective. After reading this story, I know I will be going back to read the original story, and then go on the hunt for more stories. While I wish and hope that there will be more completed stories, I highly doubt I will find more any time soon.
