The Peanut Butter Sandwich Man

The Peanut Butter Sandwich Man written by: readingmama

Summary: Edward Cullen is a man of routines. When a homeless girl distracts him from said routine, Edward finds it is time for a change. Reviewed on the Southern Fanfiction Review! An Alice sequel is now added!

Ramble: A story that tells of people struggling and meeting people that help them get back onto their feet. I don't really see the rating for this story to be so high, but then again, who am I to say what the rating should be?

Next Contestant written by: blazing

Summary: It's Edward's birthday and his brothers have decided to take him out for a 'Guy's Night'. Edward isn't happy when he finds out that this means a strip club. What will he tell his wife when he get's home? This is a one-shot that I wrote for fun!

Ramble: A good old getting in trouble because of friends/family. Gotta admit that there seem to be more and more strip club stories popping up lately. To really get the full effect of the story, just go read, and make sure not to look at how this post is labeled... Really, don't look until you are done, or else it ruins the story.

When you were young

When you were young written by: 1point77245etc

Summary: When Bella was little she used to play with her teen aged neighbor Edward. He moves and she grows up. After a bad break up she meet the one she least expected but never forgot. Rated M for lime. No lemons, just lime. AH, slightly OOC.

Ramble: Once I was finished reading this story, I was kind of sad because of how it ended. I really wanted it to be stretched out, and now it will be!!! The first chapter of the longer version is already up.

Pleasure in a Jar

Pleasure in a Jar written by: Lovin In The Oven Contest

Summary: Bella Swan has two loves in her life, Edward Cullen, and Nutella. Armed with Bella's favorite snack, and his six-pack abs, Edward Cullen is about to do the impossible… he is about to get Bella Swan to share her Nutella.

Ramble: I have to admit that the Nutella is one of the main reasons why I read the story. The relationship between Edward and Bella is a fun one to read about. In the story, the Nutella was used differently from what I first imagined, but still...

Contact Sport

Contact Sport written by: SweetDulcinea

Summary: Soccer is Edward's life, so when his Division I playing career meets distraction in the form a sexy new trainer, his mind is in 100 different places. True feelings are exposed after a bad game & a locker room confrontation. i.e. sweaty, aggressive, & hot

Ramble: A soccer story, with Bella on the side watching, and working on her sports medicine degree. Takes place during soccer season in college.

ABSOLUTION

ABSOLUTION written by: sdfreeze

Summary: Edward is a doctor in Uganda hiding from his responsibilities. He is sent a nurse who is more than she appears. They will have their faith tested along wih their will to live...sometimes th hardest person to forgive is yourself.

Ramble: An interesting combination of medical/science and faith. It is integrated in more of a background. The mention of helping people in Uganda sounds like something Edward and Bella would do.

Picture Worth A Thousand Words

Picture Worth A Thousand Words written by: Padme-And-Anakin-4-Ever

Summary: Edward is a 24-year-old Virgin Model for Brandon-Swan Studios. What happens when he does a photo shoot with the famous photographer, Miss Swan? An O/s for the 'Pop My Cherry' Contest! Rated M for lemony-goodness!

Ramble: I should look into the other contest entries. This is a pretty steamy story that can probably be expanded into a multi-chapter story (if the author wants to...). Have to admit that this is one type of paring I find interesting. Love between people, one who is on stage/in the public's eyes, and one who is more of a behind the scenes type.

On the Double

On the Double written by: MasenVixen

Summary: It's Bella's first day on the job as a body double in the new Edward Masen film. First up? The sex scene...O/S for the Haiti Compilation. Rated M for lemons. AH

Ramble: An interesting find to add to this list of stories I have read. An interesting view of what may actually be going on when people are filming sex scenes in movies. Makes me wonder how many sex scenes are real...

Turn the Page

Turn the Page written by: SydneyAlice

Summary: Edward Cullen returns home after ten years as a struggling musician. As he attempts to reconnect with his family and the life he left behind, he meets Bella, the owner of the town's bookstore. Can she convince him that there's no place like home? AH.

Ramble: At first the story reminded me of the return of the prodigal son (I'm normally not a really religious person but that was one of the first things that came to mind). It incorporates the economic times as they are today, and shows the struggles business owners may go through. There is a good plot, and a few turns to keep it interesting. For this story, the twins in the bookstore is a really strong image that is staying with me along with a subway in Forks.

Major Misconduct

Major Misconduct written by: m7707

Summary: Edward Cullen - hot high school hockey player. Bella Swan - shy high school student. They've admired each other from afar, so what happens when they finally meet? Will they be strong enough to handle a threat from his past? No good deed goes unpunished...

Ramble: A good old high school romance. Weeeee!! I guess I know what my newest phase is for now... Some of the descriptions used are really good. The threat of his past is not really what I thought it would be at the beginning.

Forever Bound

Forever Bound written by: Green Fallen Leaves

Summary: Edward and Bella are engaged to be married. It is not a marriage of love, it is a betrothal. But can their relationship blossom in to love or are they destined to hate each other?

Ramble: Perhaps I have a phase in arranged marriage stories... Either way, this is a pretty cool story. A good general plot line with twists and turns.

A Bun in the Oven

A Bun in the Oven written by: Lovin In The Oven Contest

Summary: Edward and Bella are trying to get pregnant. How do they keep it interesting? Simple…a little fun with food.

Ramble: A fun one-shot involving food. Really good and interesting descriptions about food included in the story. Will be exploring this for a bit.

Guarding Edward

Guarding Edward written by: katmom

Summary:

Guarding Edward

A stalker is trying to get close to Edward Masen, a green-eyed 24 year old concert pianist.

He hires Elite Guardians to keep him safe from the one who is hunting him.

Bella Cullen is the owner/operator of the company. She's also a 110 year old vampire.

********

In the MYSTIC AWARDS:

GUARDING EDWARD WON FIRST RUNNER UP IN THE

CUTE CATEGORY:

Story that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy!

Ramble: A good story where Bella is the vampire. The author did a good job at incorporating Edward's human life and music with vampires. Adding a stalker to the story is a pretty good touch.

Just A Call Away

Just A Call Away written by: Hannah81

Summary:

Bella Swan is an ordinary university student living in Australia. At a movie premiere, she meets the movie star Emmett McCarty and gives him a letter addressed to Edward Cullen, his co-star and Bella's celebrity crush.

As a joke, Edward calls Bella and is surprised when he finds himself falling in love with this ordinary girl from the other side of the world.

AU/AH Usual canon pairings

Rated for sexy phone calls, language and lemons in later chapters

Ramble: So I love reading the stories where they meet online etc. So that is the main reason why I got into this story. I have to admit that it was an easy read (actually finished it in a few hours!!). But alas, all good things must come to an end, but when I have more time, I will check out what else the author wrote.

Rhapsody in B

Rhapsody in B written by: Lillybellis

Summary: When a rising musician falls in love with his small-town childhood friend, can their yearly New Year's Eve tradition bring them together once he rockets to stardom and leaves her behind?

Ramble: A good look into why traditions can be important to people. A sweet story where each chapter is a different year, and focuses around new years. The way it is written covers a lot of time without really having to go into details about what happens around the rest of the year.

Man Maid in Chicago

Man Maid in Chicago written by: Phoenix Rising

Summary:

Edward Cullen needs a job to get through medical school. The Swans need someone to take care of their house. Will this be a win/win for everyone? *wink wink*

Rated for juicy lemons and language.

A "Don't Mess With the Help" contest entry.

Thank you to readergoof for the beautiful banner!

Ramble: I will leave the labeling at that for now. There can be so many labels for this story just going on what was mentioned at the beginning. A good old don't want to owe too much money from college, so student has to go out and get a job. From the job, the employee is introduced to the employer's daughter, and they... well you get the idea.

Breaking the Abusive Silence

Breaking the Abusive Silence written by: Ms. Jessica Cullen

Summary: When Bella's mom dies of breast cancer, Bella moves to Forks with her dad in hopes of a better life. Charlie succumbs to alcoholism and starts abusing her. Edward Cullen torments her as well, but when shes forced to go to him, her bully, for help, can he?

Ramble: There are some unexpected twists and turn in the story, but in general, this is a pretty good story about two people having problems and helping each other get through everything. Not really what I would consider a light read.

Fracture

Fracture written by: KatieJane4815

Summary: What are the chances of meeting your soulmate? What if you meet them at the age of 4? Edward and Bella have known each other since kindergarten. A fateful late night call opens their eyes to potentials they never thought of. AU, B/E, A/J, R/Em. Lemons.

Ramble: The whole story is a little different from what I expected from the summary. There isn't much else that really struck me as special about this (well looking at it from the end since I started and finished the story...kind of easy to predict the main plot line...). All I have to say is an interesting childhood love story.

conTEXTually speaking

conTEXTually speaking written by: hopeful wager

Summary: Bella is recently out of a bad relationship when she becomes the assistant to Prof. Whitlock and starts receiving text messages and emails from a secret admirer who calls himself ShyGuy66. M for language only. One-shot.

Ramble: Ok, so not really finished one shot, but there is more coming. A cool story taking place in college. Gotta admit that I was a little let down by how the story ended in the beginning, but once I looked into the author's profile, all was right again!!!Show all

The Kings of Forks

The Kings of Forks written by: ladyinblue6

Summary: Hockey is an emotional sport for the players and the fans. For TT25.

Ramble: After seeing the summary, I expected a little bit more than was offered. A slight spoiler, but when Bella gets skates, there was no mention of her learning how to skate again. So a few places that could be expanded on that wasn't. In general, not a bad story.

Dance with Me

Dance with Me written by: tinaababy

Summary: A major league baseball player with a bad rep needs to clean his image. He signs on to do a reality dance show. Will he clean his image and have the right kind of chemistry with his partner? AU & AH.

Ramble: This story offers some really good visuals of the moves they use in the show. Personally, I am not too big of a fan of the dance competitions, but the way this one is described, I will probably take a look and see what I've been missing. There is a little bit of the typical naughty celebrity who needs to get his/her act clean and falls in love while doing it, but then again, there are a lot of twists and turns that keep readers attached to the computer until it is done.

The Mail Order Bride

The Mail Order Bride written by: Lady Gwynedd

Summary: It's the late 1800s in the wild west. A lonely man seeks companionship; a woman restricted by convention seeks a future. Add those together and what do you get?

Ramble: A good old strangers marrying, and falling in love story. They kept a lot of the characters as they were for the most part, and was able to incorporate everything into an interesting plot line.
